Barring something life threatening and terminal. I can't cure cancer. I can cure injuries, internal or otherwise.

I can apply basic healing spells but it's not my speciality.

Just minor injuries. There are magicians with a healing discipline that can do more.

Disciplines are a magical procifiency, every magician has one.

Physical magic.

( she has a discipline much more specific than that but a girl isn't about details. and really, when you master your discipline does it really end up mattering? )

Oh, no. It's a collection of skills that are more physical in nature, focusing on matter and energy. Telekinesis, for example.

Magic is not categorized predominantly. Witches can perform any spell. There are witches who prefer one type to another. But, they are capable of any. And there are non-witches who have the power of telekinesis.

Do they have other power or solely telekinesis?

It depends. Some psychics are only psychic, others have the power of clairvoyance and telekinesis. There is not one rule, nor is there an exception. Normally, they have that one power.

It makes it a curious difference between worlds, in how magic works or perhaps for you something other than magic.

It could be magic, it could just be the ability they were born with. Or cursed with. Magic and powers are complicated.
