Yeah. And the things I can do.

[She pauses, before sending a follow up.]

Do you want to get a drink?

That works. Give me ten, and I'll see you there.

[And ten minutes later she will return from the library, bundled in her coat, and make her way to the bar to look for her friend.]

Hey, Cas.

[She offers him a smile as she starts to undo her coat, to drape over the back of her own chair.]

How've you been?

[It's certainly been a while, and it's hard to tell if she's being polite or stalling.]

[She shakes her head with a small smile.]

No, that's good. Especially in a place like this, we should grab our happiness where we can get it.

[And it's good to know that not everything has been terrible for everyone lately.]

[Sometimes she's a fruity drink kind of girl, but today she also goes for the whiskey, though she'll take hers neat.]

I wish it was, honestly.

[She's told she saves Nicole, but until she looks at Nicole with her own two eyes, there's still that nagging thought of what if something goes wrong. What if her killing Margo backlashes on her girlfriend somehow? It's a big ol mess.]

But I think I have a long way to go.

A little of both?

[She pauses, reaching forward and playing with one of the napkins, just to have something to do with her hands.]

First off ... I made it to the Garden. And it's a prison, not a paradise.

Definitely not.

[She swallows as she looks up at him again.]

It was cold and barren, and it needed a tribute of blood to keep a creature named Eve locked away, or an angel to keep the doors closed.

Didn't see an Adam. And, you know, given the context this could be the Eve, but she really seemed to hate humanity.

[Which, could happen, but Waverly still had a lot of questions.]

Anyway, I pretty much failed at that. She got because I wasn't willing to give up my life to stay.

I did. A girlfriend and my sister and ... I'm twenty-five years-old. I shouldn't be making forever choices at twenty-five, my brain is barely developed enough to not make dumb choices.

[As evidenced by a network call she will make later this month.]

[She pauses before shrugging.]

Maybe, a little. Some if it seems like it was inevitable. Either force someone to stand there and lose their mind bleeding into a box for all eternity or take the throne. If neither of those things happened, she would go free.

And then I let Wynonna talk me into not staying.
