He couldn't handle the Winchesters acting out of turn. His plan was always for the two of them to kill each other, or, one and the other. Cain and Abel. And then when they didn't kill Jack - a Nephilim - my son. He couldn't accept that.
(that could mean a lot of things, but wynonna knows somewhere in her gut it doesn't mean he was. off somewhere else doing something good. if he wasn't there, it was because he couldn't be.)
( Castiel wears that like armor. He's done this too many times, left everyone behind, and then made a bargain for when he's happiest. He can't see that ending well.
